Job Summary

Development of analytical solutions to new data analytics and AI software products within Altair. The solutions will implement advanced machine learning, AI, and optimization in order to solve specific business issues that face Altair clients. The solution will integrate with existing Altair data analytics products. The position requires knowledge of one of data analytics languages such as Python, or R. Additional skills in using Altair products will be learned on the job as well as the introduction to data science techniques, programming, optimization methods and software development cycle and practices. The project involves close collaboration with other team members in product development and product management of data analytics products. The project will also allow the participant to learn the deep specifics of a particular business function related the financial industry.

What You Will Do

Develop ML-based applications that integrate with Altair products and help Altair clients use software products in more efficient way
Develop ML models to be implemented to solve specific engineering and business problems
Work with the product development and consulting teams to address the ML needs of Altair clients in terms of new ML-assisted features in Altair products

Basics

What You Will Need:

Knowledge of ML techniques and methodologies
Programming in one of ML languages such as Python or R
Good background in engineering applications
Knowledge of engineering simulation methods and exposure to commercial simulation software

Preferred

Experience with application of ML/AI to real engineering and business problems
Participated in the development of commercial analytics software
