Position Summary

The HR Recruitment Intern will support with recruitment initiatives including sourcing, screening and interviewing top talent for the organization. This position is responsible will partner closely with HR and hiring managers to ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment process. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate HR graduate with a keen eye for talent and a knack for creating exceptional candidate experiences. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable managing multiple positions across different departments.

Key Responsibilities

Support end-to-end recruitment processes, from job posting and sourcing to interviewing.
Use various channels such as job boards, social media, LinkedIn, and employee referrals to identify and engage high-quality candidates.
Review resumes, conduct phone screens, and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
Ensure a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout the entire hiring process.
Support with tracking and reporting on key recruitment metrics (time to hire, cost per hire, source of hire, etc.).
Collaborate with HR Director to proactively address staffing needs.
Stay ahead of industry changes and emerging trends to build talent pipeline/network.
Conduct interviews and assess candidates and partners using standardized methodology.
Support with other HR projects and initiatives as needed.
Assist with other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education in human resources, organizational development, training and development, recruitment or related field considered an asset.
Exposure to recruitment would be considered an asset.
Basic working knowledge of relevant employment legislation including Employment Standards Act.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume recruitment environment.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office Suite.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Team player with the ability to take ownership of all projects involved.
High emotional intelligence and commitment to professionalism.

WORK CONDITIONS

In Person First Workplace.
Requires sitting/being stationary at a desk for extended periods of time.
