The Marketing Intern role is an entry-level marketing opportunity for someone who is energetic, results-oriented and ready to learn. It is a generalist role supporting the marketing team on content, web updates, social media, advertising, and more. Our ideal candidate is a student in their third or fourth year of studies, who is a highly organized professional willing to learn and ready to assist with a variety of activities to enable effective marketing at Circuit Stream. This is an individual contributor role that reports to the Digital Strategy and Advertising Manager.

This is a 4-month full time work term and the wages are partially funded by a grant program. As per the grant requirements, this opportunity is only open to students enrolled in a Canadian college or university, studying in a diploma or degree program, who are eligible for a full time work term in Summer 2023 and are physically located in Calgary. This position will be fully on-site/in-person at our office located near downtown Calgary.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute and publish content updates across our website as needed (this includes website copy, forms, links, imagery etc.)
Create and update forms in HubSpot - Assist in QA testing of new pages and automations for errors
Assist in promoting our courses and events by posting organically in Slack, Facebook, Reddit and LinkedIn groups as well as other channels
Provide support to the marketing team with ad-hoc campaign analysis as needed
Assist the marketing team across socials, emails, ads, competitor research, and other activities as needed

Role Requirements:

Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, Word/Google Docs, Powerpoint/Google Slides
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail and analysis skills
Organization and time management skills
Willingness to learn new tools (CRM, CMS, etc)
Ideally in fourth year of a degree program related to business/marketing/communications/public relations
