Your mission

Multiverse is looking for a talented software engineer intern to join our product development team. You will partner up with our quantum and quantum-inspired experts to industrialise Multiverse’s core technologies to take quantum applications to the next level.
You will be working on our core products and help designing and implementing our backend infrastructure, optimisation and machine learning libraries and client side applications.
You will be joining a small but fast growing tech team, which requires you to wear many hats and switch between different aspects of software engineering.

This position is based in Toronto, Canada and we work in Hybrid work environment requires 3 days a week from the office and up to 2 from home. Please apply if it works for you.

Your profile

Required Qualifications

Bachelor degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or other relevant fields
Very good command of Python and at least one other server-side programming language
Hands on experience in deploying data science and/or operations research applications
Familiarity with Docker and cloud providers such as AWS
Experience in building REST APIs using python
Ability to work with experts from different professional backgrounds, both in-person and through online resources.
Perfect command of the English language
Team player

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with Data Science and linear/quadratic optimization libraries
Familiarity with TensorFlow/PyTorch/Jax
Experience with Frontend development
Familiarity with quantum computing SDKs (e.g: DWave, QISkit, Pennylane)
Familiarity with quantum-inspired computing (tensor networks)
