Telecon is looking for an IT Intern to join our Technical Support Team in Vaughan.

Main responsibilities:

Meet and assist users in configuring and using software and peripherals at their workstations;
Analyze hardware and software problems while providing appropriate solutions;
Carry out technical tasks such as configuration, maintenance and installation of computer equipment;
Meet, inform and assist users by phone, email or in person;
Provide support and assure follow-up on various requests submitted and refer them as needed;
Solve problems according to priorities and deadlines;
Handle, transport, test and inventory the hardware and any equipment put under your responsibility;
Take preventive measures and advise users in order to make them self-sufficient;
Participate in different updates, monitoring file changes or recurring problems;
Perform any other related tasks.

Required skills & abilities:

College degree in Computer Science
Excellent knowledge of English, both orally and in writing (French would be considered an Asset)
Excellent knowledge of software MS Office and knowledge networking
Good communication skills and customer focus
Show initiative and good judgment
Ability to work under tight deadlines and under pressure
Ability to manage priorities
Strong team player
Motivated and engaged
Ability to work On site in Telecon Office
