Work Location: Trillium Health Partners Foundation office at 89 The Queensway West, Mississauga, and some flexibility to work remotely.

The Role

The Data Entry Clerk (Intern) is a full-time temporary position reporting to the Manager, Finance & Administration. The Data Entry Clerk will:

Complete gift entry processing during high volume processing periods (online, off line, memorial, tribute)
Open, sort and distribute mail and prepare income tax receipts and accompanying thank you letters
Prepare and process mail merges and thank you packages for monthly donor, telemarketing, door to door and other programs
Processing of duplicate tax receipts in addition to folding & mailing tax receipts
Provide support for thank you call program
Maintain donor confidentiality and protect THP Foundation operations by keeping information confidential
Ongoing data health of the Foundation’s donor database by regularly updating constituent information (address and contact information; DNS, attributes, constituent codes, updating return mail information, merging duplicate constituent records)
Assist in database projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related business and communication tools.
Have some experience working in databases and have some financial acumen.
Fantastic organizational and time management skills.
Ability to accurately follow instructions and pay attention to detail
Ability to work in a highly confidential environment and use discretion when dealing with sensitive employee matters
Strong interpersonal skills, effective at building relationships and able to work well with colleagues and key Foundation and Hospital stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a busy environment managing multiple projects, shifting priorities, and tight deadlines.

CANADA SUMMER JOBS PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS:

Placement is full time only (35 hours per week) for 12 weeks
Placement must occur between April 25, 2023 and September 2, 2023
Applicants are aged 15-30 years
