GEI Consultants is seeking passionate and motivated students eligible for a summer work term who are eager to make a positive impact on our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for students pursuing a career in environmental or civil engineering to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative, dynamic environment.
As an Environmental / Civil Summer Student at GEI, you will work closely with a talented team across multiple practices, contributing to the successful delivery of projects. You will have the chance to apply your academic knowledge in a practical setting, while also learning from experienced professionals in the field.
Essential Responsibilities & Duties
- Collaborate with team members on environmental and civil engineering projects
- Assist in data collection, site assessments, and environmental analysis
- Support the preparation of reports, proposals, and technical documentation
- Conduct research and contribute to project planning and implementation
- Attend site visits and provide on-site support as required
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to ongoing projects
- Ensure that all tasks are completed in compliance with safety regulations and project timelines
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related program
- Strong interest in environmental or civil engineering practices
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced work environment
- Must be eligible for a summer work term
