What will you do?
•Execute a variety of HR processes in support of employee pre-screening, transfers, compensation, leaves and time off
•Use Workday, ServiceNow, and other applications to analyze HR requests to determine the best course of action
•Partner with other HR team members to provide best in class employee experiences
•Where needed, engage with employees to explain technical HR processes in an accessible and easily understood manner
•Ensure employee data is accurate and complete
•Be an active contributor to both your individual team, and to the wider HR Operations community
•Demonstrate a continuous learning mindset by asking questions and sharing knowledge and best practices
•Work as part of an agile team responsible for end-to-end delivery of business needs
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
•Currently enrolled at a Canadian post-secondary institution with a focus on Human Resources, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
•Excellent interpersonal and highly developed communication skills (verbal and written)
•Creative and analytical thinker who is self-driven and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
•Ability to pivot quickly from one priority to another
•Strong MS Office skills – Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
•Ability to conduct transactions with a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality, in accordance with our Code of Conduct and Privacy and Risk policies
•Ability to learn and apply new processes and concepts quickly
Nice-to-have
•Bilingual in French and English is an asset
•HR Administrator or business administration experience
•Ability to prepare accurate documentation with a high standard of presentation and confidentiality
