Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Marketing Intern to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for someone with a passion for online marketing and a strong desire to learn and grow within the field. The Marketing Intern will primarily be responsible for clerical tasks to support our marketing efforts, with potential for advancement as they develop their skills and demonstrate their abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation and scheduling of social media posts across various platforms
- Support the marketing team with clerical tasks such as data entry, organizing marketing materials, and maintaining marketing databases
- Help prepare reports on marketing campaign performance
- Assist in coordinating and executing marketing campaigns and events
- Conduct market research and analysis to support marketing strategies
- Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and develop new marketing ideas and initiatives
- Assist with email marketing campaigns, including drafting content and managing distribution lists
- Monitor and report on competitor activities and market trends
- Create blog posts and email blasts targeted at both B2C and B2B clients
- Research potential partnerships with industry-related influencers and podcasters
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong interest and passion for online marketing and digital media
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Basic understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Perfectly bilingual in French and English
- Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in marketing or a related field (internships, part-time jobs, etc.)
- Experience using marketing tools such as HubSpot is a plus
- Basic knowledge of graphic design principles and tools (Canva, etc.)
