Join the Alexa Translations A.I. team as a Product Designer Intern and help shape the future of translation technology. This is a full-time position offering hands-on experience and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of designers, engineers, and product managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Collaboration: Work closely with our product designers to create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes for new features and improvements
- Research & Analysis: Assist in researching user needs, market trends, and competitor products to inform design decisions and contribute to user-centered design solutions
- User Testing: Help coordinate and organize user testing sessions, gather feedback, and analyze results to drive design improvements
- Design Documentation: Support the creation and maintenance of design documentation, including user interface specifications and design systems
- Team Contribution: Participate in brainstorming sessions, contribute creative ideas, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of design solutions
- Metrics Tracking: Assist in tracking and analyzing design metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of new features and updates
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or a related field
- Bilingual in English and French
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Figjam, Maze Design, and Dovetail
- Strong analytical and research skills with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take initiative on projects
- Passion for technology and an interest in artificial intelligence and the translation industry
