Human Resources Intern will support various HR functions, such as assisting with the employee life cycle, recruitment, and helping to promote our core values within the organization. This is a fantastic opportunity to dive into the versatile world of human resources within the hospitality industry, while contributing to our mission of providing exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings and screening resumes
- Help schedule interviews and communicate with candidates and hiring managers
- Support the employee lifecycle, including onboarding activities and paperwork for new hires, and offboarding employees
- Maintain employee records and assist in managing HR databases
- Participate in employee engagement initiatives and training programs
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team as needed
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree or certificate in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong interest in human resources and the hospitality industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
The contract term will be January 2025 - April 2025, with a possibility of an extension.
