Location
This is a hybrid position. You must be in the Ottawa, Canada office, at least three days a week.
About the team
You will be part of the Customer Enablement Team, assisting in the creation of amazing presentations to market our training portfolio to our customers and partner organizations.
This is a full-time, 12-month position, starting January 2025.
About the role
- Design brochures, magazine covers and backs, billboards, brochures, web pages, advertising for a variety of media formats and annual reports. You will create presentation materials using modern creative software suites to generate illustrations, layouts and designs
- You will present and market our Education portfolio to customers and partners
What we are looking for
- Currently enrolled or recent graduate of a computer science, supply chain, graphic design or other relevant program
Proficiency in graphic design and with graphic illustration software
- Expertise in PowerPoint and MS Office tools
Ability to work as part of a team and independently
Artistic skills
- Analytical skills
Good presentation and communication skills
Things that would definitely help
- Some experience in editing or creating illustrations using illustration software, building multi-layer compositions digitally or by hand, creating final artwork with lettering suitable for advertising and editing photographic images to suit the needs of the client
- Some experience in marketing/selling products
- An understanding of user-centered design, responsive design, mobile first design, and web standards
- Exceptional eye for design, typography and detail
- Some experience working across multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Some ability in Adobe Creative Cloud suite
- CSS, HTML knowledge, motion, animation, etc.
