Position Summary
We are looking for students interested in pursuing/exploring careers in Supply Chain. The Supply Chain Internship duration is May through August.
This position will be based out of our Florenceville, New Brunswich, CA office.
The Supply Chain Intern will join McCain Foods' North American Supply Chain organization and contribute to its goals and objectives. This role will support one primary function, which could include Planning, Logistics, Customer Solutions, E2E Network Operations, or Supply Chain Excellence. The Supply Chain Intern is expected to gain a broad understanding of supply chain processes and tools, potentially including inventory management, capacity planning, demand/supply planning, warehouse management, transportation planning, customer relationship management, and analytics.
The Team
McCain's North American Supply Chain team is right in the middle of the action. Our team comprises six primary functions: Demand & Supply Planning, Sales & Operations Planning, Logistics, Customer Solutions, E2E Network Operations, and Supply Chain Excellence. We are responsible for planning and operating the Supply Chain across all product categories and engaging with North American and Global stakeholders. You will find you are surrounded by team members looking out for one another and always available to help someone in need.
What You Will Be Working On
The Supply Chain Intern will complete work designed to develop and broaden supply chain skills. Candidates will focus on one core functional area, which could be split between daily/weekly/monthly processes and improvement projects. Beyond those responsibilities, interns will work on key development activities to grow business acumen, leadership capabilities, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.

What You Need to Be Successful
- Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Great analytical skills and the ability to work with complex data
- Detail-oriented, organized, and the ability to work with speed and accuracy
- Ability to investigate complex issues, problem solve, and conduct root cause analysis
- Self-motivated, analytical, and independent thinker
- Effectively communicates and builds relationships in a dynamic environment
- High proficiency in tools used for data analysis, such as Excel, is a must
