Job Description

Duration: 6 Months Internship (Starting October 2024)
Working Hours : 8:00AM to 4:30PM
Location : Brantford Lab (541 Oak Park Road, Brantford, ON)
During the six month full-time internship, you will be working alongside the team of technicians and engineers in the R&D department in Brantford, ON.
The following are some of the responsibilities a candidate would have:
- Executing R&D projects under the supervision of the R&D team.
- Performing laboratory tests for new and existing products.
- Assisting R&D and Sales teams with their projects (R&D, technical service requests).
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need to:
- Be in the process of completing a Bachelor’s of Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Chemistry degree (or equivalent)
- Hold a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle
- Be able to work with a team as well as alone
- Be fluent in English
- Have basic knowledge of concrete
- Have experience using Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel and have the ability to learn new software
- Possess strong problem solving skills
- Possess strong organization skills and be a self-initiator
This is a in-person role - students will work in our lab at the Brantford facility.
