AGRIS Co-operative Ltd. has a Summer Energy Department Intern opportunity for a motivated Student to join our AGRIS Energy Team. As a Summer Energy Intern, you will have opportunity to work with a dedicated team that provides fuel to farmers and businesses across southwestern Ontario. You will have the opportunity to develop experience and knowledge in what is means to be a leading supplier of refined and renewable fuels to a wide range of accounts including farmers, truckers, construction, commercial, municipalities, fleet managers and more. Additionally, this role will also provide you with the opportunity to support a project for the energy team, including electronic monitoring systems support for customers with hands on experience, as well as gain an understand careers available at AGRIS.
What will you be responsible for:
· Provide an exceptional customer experience at every interaction
· Under the leadership the Energy Manager you will work closely with the Energy Sales person and the energy to identify clients and support the onboarding and use of the electronic fuel monitoring.
· Ensures that all associated documentation is accurate and complete according to requirements and schedule.
· Ability to work closely with the branch and AGRIS teams to deliver on profitable solutions for AGRIS and our farm owners.
· Awareness of sustainability issues such as 4R Stewardship, safe fuel handling, energy systems.
· Training and support will be offered in both sales/marketing and become proficient in the technology.
· Other related duties as assigned
Requirements for this Job:
- General fuel systems and fuel knowledge is an asset
- Maintain a Valid Drivers License
- Travel as required to support the needs across our trading area
- Become proficient in using the cloud-based services to perform analytics (training by service provider)
