Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Pharmacy Manager on a permanent basis with our Pharmacy Operations team to oversee the Co-op Central Services Pharmacy, located in Regina, SK.

This position requires on-site work and is based in Regina, SK.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy professional to join in at the ground level. The Co-op Central Services Pharmacy is in the development stages, and the successful candidate will be able to provide insight and direction throughout the project’s implementation. The Pharmacy Manager will provide leadership to a team of Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians through the opening and operation of the facility.

What you’ll do:

The goal of the Co-op Central Services Facility is to provide exceptional service to pharmacies across the Co-operative Retailing System (CRS). To achieve this, the Pharmacy Manager will:

Oversee and manage the Pharmacy’s budget, including sales, expenses, labor, and inventory. This will also include managing accounts receivable and billing of the retail pharmacies.
Manage adequate staffing levels at all times, through effective and flexible scheduling.
Monitor key performance indicators and identify opportunities for improvement.
Build and maintain relationships with pharmaceutical wholesalers.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with retail pharmacy teams across the CRS.
Educate and support the management team on all issues related to provincial and federal professional standards, regulations, and other compliance issues.
Work closely with the Pharmacy Operations team on strategic growth and expansion plans.

Who you’ll work with:

The Team: You will work closely with a team of Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians, providing leadership, oversight, guidance, and mentorship. You will report to the Director of Pharmacy Operations.

The Collaborators: You will work in partnership with the Pharmacy Operations team, providing strategic insight on growth and expansion, and maintain regular communication and updates regarding changes to the profession and industry.

The Customers: You will support pharmacies throughout the CRS, providing top-tier customer service and maintaining regular communication with all stakeholders on services and training of their staff.

Who you are:

You are a dedicated health care professional and are looking to expand your career in Pharmacy and you:

Have 5 years experience working as a licensed Pharmacist, with at least 12 months practicing in Saskatchewan.
Have a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Doctorate in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
Are licensed or able to become licensed to practice in the Province of Saskatchewan.
Have a proven track record of leadership, relationship building, and collaboration.
Are honest, trustworthy, and results driven.
