POSITION SUMMARY
We’re looking for a creative and enthusiastic social media lover to join our team!
RESPONSIBILITIES
Content Creation:
- Produce, film, edit, and post high-quality content for Elyse’s TikTok and Instagram
- Brainstorm creative content ideas that are fun, witty, and consistent with our brand tone and voice
- Keep up to date with trending audios and current social media trends to create relevant content
- Post at least 1 TikTok, 1 Instagram reel/grid post, and 1-5 Instagram stories per day
- Attend and travel to Elyse events as needed to capture, edit, and post content
- Attend creative photoshoots as needed to capture video and photo content
Social Media Management:
- Help schedule posts, strategize and plan our social grids (photos, videos, and stories), manage content calendars, and monitor engagement
- Cultivate community through Instagram stories and responding to comments, questions, DMs in a timely manner
- Provide a monthly report on engagement, followers, and overall performance
- Knowledgeable about Elyse products in order to be a brand ambassador
- Take on other fun tasks as they come up
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
- Must be a post-secondary student, preferably in Social Media Marketing, PR, Communications or any other related field
- A natural storyteller and strong communicator
- Comfortable being in front of a camera
- Able to use their eye for design and copywriting skills to create engaging content
- Passionate about social media (particularly TikTok), content creation, and digital marketing
SKILLS
- Experience with Capcut, Canva, and Photoshop or similar tools
- Proficient with social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest
- 1+ years experience in social media, content creation, graphic design, and video editing (preferred)
Hours: 15-20 hours weekly
Location: Remote but available for product shoots or events
