Start Date: End of November/December-February/March (or we can work around required hours for school requirement if needed)
Division: Marketing – remote position, and some on-site visits
Hours: Monday-Friday 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
Compensation: Unpaid
Sports Camps Canada is looking for a seasonal, full-time marketing intern to help assist the marketing team. The ideal applicant would have experience in marketing and communications, is extremely detail-oriented, well-versed in Microsoft applications, Adobe Suite, social media savvy, a great team player, has great time management skills and is proactive. Sports Camps Canada (SCC) was founded in 2015 and is the official provider of Nike Sports Camps in Canada. SCC partners with the country's best coaches to direct our camps and provides them with valuable administrative and marketing support. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
• Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media,
direct mail, and web)
• Monitor all social media platforms for trending news, ideas, and feedback
• Make updates to web pages for individual camps
• Help make social assets (Instagram, Facebook)
• Help with production of print material (Banners, Info Cards, Flyers, etc.)
• Attend marketing meetings
• Help liaison with Camp Directors across Canada and plan out their marketing
strategies/needs
• Other marketing duties that may arise
Qualifications
• Familiarity with social media strategies and platforms
• Proficiency with Canva, Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and Adobe Suite is required.
• Ability to multitask and take initiative
• Hardworking and dedicated outlook
• Experience with content creation a plus
• Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Outstanding multitasking abilities
• Must have a passion for marketing and sports
• Bilingual English/French is a plus, but not required
