FactSet's buy-side solutions continue to be a driving force in how we compete in the FinTech industry. The Analytics Product Specialist team is a group of subject matter experts, combining product and industry knowledge to help ensure customer success and drive retention for our Buy-Side clients.
Your Impact
The Buy-Side Analytics Internship Program introduces interns to FactSet’s solutions, clients, industry, and various teams within our client-facing and product organizations. Our Interns gain insight into our buy-side users and clients, assist in resolving clients’ technical requests, and obtain exposure to high-value, project-based engagements. The program will include opportunities to share new ideas and foster creative thinking to add value and have a lasting impact on the greater team. What You'll Do:
Throughout the program, Buy-Side Analytics Intern will:
- Take part in an intensive training program that combines classroom sessions with hands-on assignments.
- Learn about our versatile client base by engaging in a series of learning activities and completing mock client presentations.
- Be paired with a member of the Analytics Product Specialist team, who will act as your mentor and help you build valuable connections and relationships and learn about FactSet’s suite of solutions.
- Learn about different teams and shadow Institutional Buy Side professionals to experience project-based engagements such as implementations, solutions optimizations, and other projects designed to create a better user experience for FactSet’s clients.
- Engage in an independent project and present your findings to the senior management team at the end of your internship.
- Meet members of the executive and senior management teams by attending the speaker series.
What We’re Looking For:
Buy-Side Analytics Interns have an interest in Finance and/or FinTech, working in a client focused environment, and a desire to collaborate across teams. We are excited by someone who is enthusiastic, curious, and takes pride in the work they do. Above all, we look for candidates with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, who are excited to join a world-class client service team of subject matter experts.
- Desire to be client-facing in a support role
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to build relationships and work on teams
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office with Excel skills
- Sophomores in good academic standing
