Honeywell is seeking a motivated Engineering Intern to join our Standards Lab team. The intern will gain hands-on experience in Measurement Uncertainty, Calibration, Preventative Maintenance, Statistical Process Control, maintaining Test Stands, and supporting our firewall for test computers. This internship will provide a comprehensive foundation in metrology, qualification and development test lab support and network security in an engineering environment
Responsibilities:
•Learn and apply concepts of Measurement Uncertainty in various calibration processes.
•Assist in developing and maintaining calibration documentation for electronic and environmental tests.
•Participate in Preventative Maintenance activities to ensure the proper functioning of Test Lab Equipment.
•Support the implementation of Statistical Process Control techniques for monitoring and controlling test processes.
•Maintain Test Stands that support remote testing of hardware and software by other Engineering Teams, ensuring they are operational, troubleshooting when necessary.
•Provide support for the Special Use Network, ensuring the firewall is maintained and lab computers are secure and functional.
You Must Have:
•Currently pursuing a degree in electrical engineering or related field.
•Basic knowledge of electrical engineering principles and concepts
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
•Must graduate before May 2026
•The Honeywell Building is a controlled goods environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP Clearance
We Value:
•Basic understanding of metrology, calibration principles and measurement uncertainty.
•Familiarity with preventative maintenance and Statistical Process Control.
•Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols in a laboratory environment.
•Strong Command of English and excellent communication skills
•Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) tools is required.
