National Bank Financial Markets is recruiting for Summer 2025 internship
Analyst positions within Sales & Trading for our offices in Calgary,
Montreal and Toronto.

Internship availabilities:
Positions are available, but are not limited,
to our product expert teams that cover Equities, Fixed Income, Currencies &
Commodities as well as our Equity Research and Economy & Strategy teams.
Our Program:
Our internship program offers dynamic hands-on exposure working
alongside seasoned professionals and assisting members of the team in executing
their responsibilities.
Responsibilities may
include support to sales, trading and market making operations, database
maintenance and quality control, various market & strategy analysis and
monitoring financial market action. As a summer program
participant, you will have the opportunity to put your learnings into action
and applying it in real time situations.
Candidate Profile:
Applicants to this role should be currently enrolled
in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in business, finance, computer
science, economics, mathematics, engineering, or any related field, graduating
at the earliest in December 2025 and must be able to work in Canada.

- Undergraduate
or master’s program student and legally eligible to work in Canada. - Capital
markets and financial industry enthusiast. - Strong
interpersonal skills, detail oriented, organized, proactive and high level of intellectual curiosity. - Excellent verbal & written communication
skills with the specific ability to communicate concepts and ideas concisely. - Strong analytical skills and good understanding of basic accounting
rules/concepts. - Aptitude
to synthesize large amounts of information and develop innovative solutions. - Robust
PowerPoint and advanced Excel skills for modelling, valuations, etc. - Proficiency
with programming languages - Capacity
to manage projects independently and be ready to assume a high level of
responsibility as a member of the team. - Team
player with the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines. - Outstanding
ethics, integrity and judgement. - Ability
to comfortably interact with clients in a professional and mature manner. - Strong academic track
record and pertinent extracurricular activities - Bilingualism is an asset
(French required for Montreal internships).
